Palo Alto, California— Oxbow Country Club in Oxbow, North Dakota, reopened this month following an extensive and comprehensive renovation by Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects (RTJ II). 

The course, originally built in 1975 near the Red River, was one of Jones’s earliest designs. Hugging the river’s U-shaped “oxbow” bends from which it took its name, the course quickly became recognized as one of the region’s premier layouts.  

Palo Alto, California— Capturing the spirit of the South China Sea shoreline, Robert Trent Jones II (RTJ II) Golf Course Architects has expanded its global golf footprint to Vietnam, with the much anticipated debut of an original course design at Hoiana Shores Golf Club headlining the company’s worldwide projects in 2019.

Palo Alto, California— The Championship Course at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, North Carolina—a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design that hosted the 1974 PGA Championship and the 1986 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship—reopened last Saturday after five months of implementing major portions of a long-range golf course refinements master plan prepared by Jones Sr.’s son, Robert Trent Jones Jr., Chairman and Master Architect of Robert Trent Jones II (RTJ II) Golf Course Architects.

Palo Alto, California— The City of Spokane has selected Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects (RTJ II) to develop master plans for each of the four city-owned golf courses: Indian Canyon, Creek at Qualchan, Esmeralda, and Downriver. The master plans will help guide facility improvements beyond irrigation needs and provide a roadmap for future refinements.

Palo Alto, California— Reinventing the golf experience at Singapore’s premier golf and country club, Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects (RTJ II) has designed multiple playing loops into the routing for the new Garden Course at Tanah Merah Country Club.

Construction for the complete renovation project is scheduled to begin in January, with the redeveloped Garden Course to be ready for play in early 2020.

Palo Alto, California— Inspired by the golf legacy of North Ridge Country Club over the past seven decades – which includes a personal connection with its staff – Robert Trent Jones II (RTJ II) Golf Course Architects has completed its restoration project on the iconic Sacramento golf course. The official unveiling is Sunday, June 24, 2018.
